I am an active teacher and educator in the greater Boston area. I am available for private violin lessons, group lessons, and workshops. My teaching method weaves classical and improvisational methodology together into a creative and fun experience. Along with learning the disciplining technique of the instrument my students learn a variety of genres and styles. My teaching is also informed and influenced by the incredible Dalcroze Method.

I have led workshops teaching improvisation and storytelling through music to elementary aged audiences. I have also taught violin group classes to beginners in 2nd and 3rd grade where I include elements of improvisation, music appreciation, and ear training alongside classic instruction.

I teach because I love it and because I believe that we, as musicians, have a responsibility to pass on our knowledge. A musical education is invaluable and teaches skills that translate to all areas of life.
